Educational Qualification for CSIR SERC Apprentice Recruitment 2026
For ITI Trade Apprentice
Candidates must have:
- ITI certificate in the relevant trade
- Certificate must be approved under NCVT pattern
- Registration with Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT), Chennai
For Diploma Technician Apprentice
Candidates must have:
- Full-time 3-year Diploma in Engineering or Technology in relevant discipline
- Diploma must be from a recognized university or institution
Important Conditions
- Private, part-time, distance education, sandwich diplomas, and short-term certificate courses are not accepted.
- Diploma candidates must have passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.
- Candidates who already completed apprenticeship training or have one year or more work experience are not eligible.
