About the Role

The Inventory Cum Cost Controller will be responsible for managing inventory operations, monitoring food and operational costs, and ensuring accurate stock control across Meals on Me facilities.

The role focuses on:

  1. Reducing inventory wastage
  2. Improving inventory accuracy
  3. Supporting procurement planning
  4. Maintaining cost-effective operations
  5. Ensuring compliance with company policies and SOPs

The selected candidate will work closely with kitchen, operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure efficient stock handling and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring daily stock movement of raw materials, packaging items, and operational supplies
  2. Maintaining accurate inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems
  3. Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations
  4. Performing inventory variance analysis
  5. Ensuring proper storage practices and FIFO/FEFO compliance
  6. Monitoring stock expiry dates and minimizing wastage
  7. Coordinating replenishment requirements with procurement teams

Cost Control

The role also includes monitoring and controlling operational costs.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Analyzing food costs and packaging costs
  2. Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports
  3. Monitoring recipe costing and portion control
  4. Identifying cost-saving opportunities
  5. Investigating stock discrepancies and wastage

Procurement and Vendor Coordination
